Meet Our Managing Director
Michael Jacobs
Managing Director, Tutum
Michael brings a rare combination of strategic insight, technical understanding, and commercial acumen to the bird and pest control sector.
Beginning his career in the commercial insurance market, Michael spent over 15 years as a Senior Global Property Underwriter in the City of London, advising Risk Managers, Finance Directors, and CEOs on complex, high-value portfolios.
Prior to founding Tutum, he worked as a Contract Manager for a national bird and pest control company across London, managing client relationships, site surveys, quotations, and project delivery. He holds the RSPH Level 2 qualification in Pest Management.
His transition into environmental markets consulting strengthened his commitment to sustainability, ultimately leading to the creation of a purpose-driven bird and pest management business.

Social Value
TUTUM is committed to giving back to the community through practical and meaningful support. We have carried out free general pest control services for visually impaired individuals in partnership with Croydon Vision, helping to ensure safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for blind and partially sighted people.
As part of Tutum’s social values and commitment to responsibility and community impact, we are currently in discussions with the Ministry of Justice to deliver encouraging and motivational talks to young offenders in prisons, particularly within South East London. These sessions aim to inspire positive change, promote personal growth, and support individuals in turning their lives around toward a more constructive and hopeful future.
